Writers, Renita & Renata Jenkins are the authors of the children’s book associated with Renita & Renata’s Book Collection, LLC. They are identical twin sisters who were born and raised in Rochester, New York. Renata has 2 beautiful children, Jayden and Jayvion who consider Renita a second mother. Growing up they wrote songs and poems together. They were introduced to children’s books at an early age by their parents. Co-writing the children’s books with their mother made them appreciate the close bond that they have always shared with their family. They believe that the more you read during your early childhood, the more goals and dreams you will have. Reading is one of the tools that has inspired them to continue their education and dream big. They now live in Atlanta, Georgia as aspiring businesswomen while using their master’s degrees in criminal justice to counsel and guide at-risk children and adults. During their free time, Renita and Renata love visiting the beach, cooking, shopping, traveling, styling hair and spending time with their family. However, their primary focus is for children across the world to develop a love for reading while dreaming big just as they did as children.
Renita & Renata Jenkins

Sandra Jenkins
Sandra Jenkins, one of the authors of Renita & Renata’s First Day at School, Renita & Renata’s Birthday Pool Party and Renita & Renata Have a New Baby Brother, was born in Rochester, New York. She is a mother of three and has 2 beautiful grandchildren. Growing up, she won several writing contests in school. Writing children’s books has always been a dream of hers. Now with Renita & Renata’s Book Collection (LLC), her dreams are finally a reality. Writing these books with her daughters brought back memories of when she used to read to them during their early childhood. Currently she resides in Atlanta, Georgia and still loves to buy children’s books as gifts for her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. When she is not writing she enjoys pampering herself at the nail salon, eating popcorn at the movie theater, spending quality time with family and traveling. Remembering how special reading time was for her and her family, her goal is to spread the same love, values and warmth to other families across the world.
